GOOD DAY!!!
The Youth Group of St. Casimir's organized the"Souper Bowl of Caring" event, an annual fundraiser to help families in need. During the month of February, parishioners donated soups, pasta, and canned vegetables that were donated to Share, an organization that provides emergency and ongoing support to individuals and families in Milford, Amherst, Brookline and Mont Vernon, New Hampshire. Thank you Diane Quirbach for helping the Youth Group with this worthwhile endeavor.
Our parish is dedicated to doing good work to help those in our community. In the late fall of 2021, the ANS sponsored a "hat drive", which resulted in boxes full of hats collected for preschool children in the Head Start Learning program of Lowell. Here, Shirley Garvey delivers the items to a classroom lead by teacher Rosemary McMullin. The children enjoyed going through the boxes and selecting their special winter hat.
In January 2022, parishioners Shirley Garvey and Deb Charette delivered items collected by the parish to the Lowell Transitional Living Center. The LTLC provides housing, meals, and connections to community-based resources and support. Basic needs, such as socks, hats and personal care products are items needed at LTLC. Shirley and Deb delivered about 300 pairs of socks, and about 50 toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste to the donation coordinator of the LTLC. Great job!
